A Certified Athletic Therapist since 1998, Chantal has become known for her clinical and manual therapy skills, specializing in deep tissue and myofascial release, muscle energy, somatotherapy and the Be Activated Technique. Chantal believes that the body must be seen as a whole, that the patient must be treated as a complete person, and that movement in assessment, treatment and rehabilitation is the key to successfully breaking the patterns that keep us in pain.

Education
Chantal Guy CAT(C), graduated from Concordia University with an Undergraduate degree, BSc specialization: Athletic Therapy. Chantal’s experiences and interest include manual musculoskeletal treatments, educating her clients in health and injury management as well as alternative approaches to health and wellness.

Career
Co-owner of The Body Mechanics, Athletic Therapist for the athletes in the CFL, NHL as well as Olympic level synchronized swimmers and figure skaters. Despite her vast experience with high level athletes, Chantal’s client-base remains quite varied, having treated everyone from pre-adolescent gymnasts to 75 year old tennis players. Serving her patients and restoring them to their beloved activities remains her passion.
